The 1981 film Yaarana which means friendship, is a musical drama. Rakesh Kumar directed the film, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Amjad Khan. Neetu Singh and Tanuja in the female pivotal roles. The story is about two childhood friends, one of whom is an orphan while the other is from an affluent, rich family, but the family status never comes in between them.
