Bollywood has always been the right fit for any festival. The films have depicted various festivals in the form of joyous celebrations. Bollywood films over the years have created a happy vibe with dance sequences and the appropriate songs, which effortlessly have left their mark in the minds of the audience.  When we discuss festivals in Hindi films, Makar Sankranti is also one that they celebrate.  

On 14th January,  a widely celebrated Indian festival features kite flying; some regions call it the Festival of Kites. India comes together, competing with colorful manjah and beautiful kites flying high.

2) Kai Po Che! (2013): The movie’s title comes from a popular kite-flying phrase, “kai po che.” The song features the “Manja,” which emphasizes rebuilding faith.

3) Ruth Aa Gayee Re: This song from the 1947 Earth was released in 1998.

4) Udi Udi Jaye: This song shows the true spirit of kite flying during Makar Sankranti.
