The story goes like this.Amjad Khan plays Thakur Jaswant Singh, a wicked zamindar of a small town. He has a heated argument that ends up with a fight with a simpleton, Jeeva (Amitabh Bachchan). Thakur Jaswant Singh throws Jeeva and his old mother out of the village .
To get back to his revenge, Jeeva joins the dacoit gang and becomes a dacoit. The star cast was good. The songs and the story were good, and the film went on to become a super hit. The entire shooting was shot in Rajasthan. During the shooting, one of the fans started misbehaving with Rekha.
