“Welcome to another episode on Amitabh Bachchan’s film journey! Today, we’re discussing his 1972 film Raaste Kaa Patthar, which translates to Paving Stone.” The film is loosely based
on the English film The Apartment, released in 1960. Raaste Kaa Patthar
starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, and Prem Chopra.

The story goes as this Bombay based (now called Mumbai) bachelor Jai,
Shankar Rai is essayed by Amitabh Bachchan. He and his boss Ranjeet,
Choudhary uses his flat at night for having their flings with women. His
The flat is mostly used by his boss for his escapades with women. Apparently
Jai Shankar falls in love with one homeless Neeta Sinha and gets her
job in his company.
Both spend a lot of time together and Shankar decides to propose to
her but he is in for a rude shock when his boss , a much moneyed man,
proposes to his lady love and she accepts, as she sees only the money and
the richness of his boss and soon she is going to be his boss’s wife
That leaves him in a deep dilemma.

Neeta succumbs to Choudhary’s charm not knowing that he is a married
man and is only having fun with her with no intention of a secured life
with HR. While he proposes her discretely telling her to keep their
engagement a secret. What will happen when Jai finds out that Choudhary
is using his flat to have a night fling with Neeta and what will happen
to Neeta when she finds out that Choudhary is a much-married man?

With Laxmikant Pyarelal’s
music that makes the movie interesting with the confusion and the for
the sake of his love, will he retort to kicking his job to keep his love
life safe?
