Naseeb was a superhit film and a story about four friends: Namdev, Raghu, Damu, and Jaggi. A drunken man sells them the lottery ticket, and they win the lottery. Damu and Raghu kill Jaggi over the lottery money, frame Namdev, and in the ensuing fight, they throw Namdev off a bridge into the river, where he’s presumed dead.

Damu and Raghu use the stolen money to build a grand hotel twenty years later. They start earning millions and become two successful businessmen. Damu sends his youngest son Vicky, played by Shatrughan Sinha, to England, and hires Namdev’s son Johnny, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, as a waiter at their hotel. Both Vicky and Johny, by coincidence, fall in love with the beautiful singer Ms. Asha, essayed by Hema Malini. Reena Roy plays the role of Julie, who is in love with Vicky. Johny, who is also Vicky’s friend, sacrifices his love. With Julie, they both get together to ensure Vicky finds his Asha, his lady love. Johny has a younger brother by the name of Sunny, essayed by Rishi Kapoor.
This thriller concludes with the hotel owners encountering the drunk beggar and advising him never to sell his destiny. Honesty and integrity are underscored as essential values, while luck is shown to pave the way for destiny to unfold, ensuring one achieves their destined goals. By emphasizing these themes, the film delivers a lasting message.. Naseeb with a multi-star cast, did well for the songs, the locales, and the story, which is about fate that begins with a lottery ticket and how the lives of the characters who are friends becomes an poignant story on love, friendship, sacrifice, and revenge.
