Akshay Kumar born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia was passionate about martial arts and he was born in Amritsar but grew up in Chandni Chowk in Delhi and later he moved to Mumbai. He pursued the martial arts training in Bangkok and worked as a waiter cum chef to fund his training. He returned to Mumbai and transited to modelling and then film acting.

He would roam around Andheri in Mumbai asking people for work and for acting jobs. Tripathi began with amateur plays in his childhood and had moved to Patna to pursue hotel management .He worked at nights in the hotel kitchen to purse his interest in theatre. He eventually moved to Delhi to join the National School of drama in 2004, after which he got his debut role in a feature film called Run. Prior to that he had a appeared in television shows and his performance in the Gangs of Wasseypur films series paved his way to stardom which is very inspiring.

Rekha was born as Bhanurekha Ganesan. Though born to the Tamil Superstar Gemini Ganesan, and actress Pushpavali . She grew up being neglected due to her mother’s busy and demanding acting career while her father was always absent from her life. Despite her parents being well known in the film industry, she spent a large part of her childhood with her grand mother . Due to financial difficulties that the family faced, Rekha was led to pursue acting at a very young age due to which she dropped out of school after the ninth grade . She was forced to do films to maintain herself and her mother as she had a strained relationship with her father Gemini Ganeshan as he reportedly had never acknowledged her in his life during her early years.
Neetu Singh / Neetu Kapoor was born as Harneet Kaur to Darshan Singh and Rajee Kaur Singh. Born in a Punjabi Sikh family , she had begun acting in films from a very young age after her father had passed away due to which her mother and she relocated to Mumbai to purse her acting in films. She appeared in films like Suraj in 1966 and Do Kaliyaan in 1968 . Her mother played a significant role in her life and her success in film career. She debuted in an adult role with the film Rickshawala in 1973.

Helen born as Helen Jairag Richardson in Burma now called Myanmar had a very tough childhood. Faced by hardship including fleeing with her family from Burma in 1942 due to the Japanese invasion. Her financial struggles started once they were in India.

She had to stop her studies at a very young age to support her family. An Anglo Indian father with a Burmese Mother, the family had escaped to India and settled in Bombay now Mumbai. At the age of 12 she joined as a dancer to support her family and she got introduced to films through a friend who helped her get work as a chorus dancer. Helen’s breakthrough was with song Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu from the movie, Howrah Bridge in 1958 in which she gained her popularity in the film industry.
Silk Smitha born as Vijayalakshmi was a South Indian Actress who was known for her bold and sensual roles in the films. Her personal life was full of struggles including that of a troubled childhood , failed relationships and her tragic death at a very young age of 35. She was married young and endured a difficult marriage. She worked as a make up artist and got her break in acting and dancing through the film maker Anthony Eastman and director Vinu Chakravathy. Overnight she became a sensation for her dancing and became a sex symbol for her bold and sensual scene and dance in the South films. She starred in over 450 films and went on to become one of the most sought-after actresses .She appeared in several Hindi films and her most notable role was in the award-winning film Sadma in 1983.

Dia Mirza was born in Hyderabad to a German Father Frank Handrich and a Bengali mother Deepa. Her parents separated when she was barely six years old. Her father had passed away when she was nine years old. Her mother re married Ahmed Mirza, a Muslim from Hyderabad and Dia was adopted by him and she adopted her stepfather’s surname.
The parental separation and the loss of a parent had a great impact on Dia . While in college she joined as a marketing executive and took to modelling for print and television commercials. She participated in Miss India Beauty Contest in 2000 wherein she was the second runner-up. Dia then went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific title in the same year. She did her debut in the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite actor Madhavan.
