Bollywood being the most talked about industry. The most frequently talked about relationships are being siblings in the industry they are as melo dramatic and different as the films they star in. Bollywood siblings face highs and lows, with some achieving more success than others, but they continue to work hard and focus on their goals.

On the contrary Shamita Shetty‘s career graph has had its share of pro’s and con’s. After her debut in Mohabbatein in (2000), she appeared in several films during her span in Bollywood while experiencing moderate success. However, her career didn’t reach to the same heights as her sister Shilpa’s. In the 2000’s she took a stepback from acting to explore other opportunities. Shamita Shetty, sister of Shilpa Shetty, has shown resilience in her career with occasional film roles and reality TV appearances. Notable films include Zeher, Fareb, and Bewafaa. She has also participated in reality shows like Bigg Boss OTT 2 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, showcasing her versatility. Also, Pooja Bhatt‘s career in the Indian film industry has seen its share of tiral and errors. Pooja Bhatt found success with films like Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (1991) and Sadak (1991). KATRINA & ISABELLE KAIF

Katrina Kaif‘s journey in Bollywood has been one of perseverance, growth, and success. Sister started with modeling, then debuted in the 2003 film Boom, which tanked at the box office but showcased her striking looks and screen presence.

However, he gained attention with Raja (1995) and Sirf Tum (1999). Chhupa Rastum (2021) also being averagely successful he hasn’t maintained consistent momentum in his career. He’s also ventured into television and produced films, with Tv and web shows like Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara (2017), Fame Game, (2022) but still his prominence in Bollywood has been variable.

Trials and Triumphs: Bollywood’s Famous Siblings

RISHI & RAJIV KAPOOR

Rishi Kapoor had a unbeatable victorious career spread over five decades in the Indian film industry. His debut movie as a child artist was film Mera Naam Joker (1970). His name to fame started as a romantic lead in the films like Bobby (1973), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), and Karz (1980).

He later evolved to character roles with significant performances in movies like Damini (1993) and Do Dooni Chaar (2010). He continued to impress audiences with his acting and charisma , earning accolades for his roles in movies like Kapoor & Son (2016) and 102 Not Out (2018). Throughout his career, Rishi Kapoor remained a well known beloved figure in Indian cinema, His last movie Sharmaji Namkeen (2022 )was loved by everyone for the simplicity and portrayal of the character with such ease, His sudden demise was a great loss to the film industry, but his legacy still continues to live on through his memorable performances on screen.

Also on the other hand Rajiv Kapoor, the youngest son of Raj Kapoor, had a relatively short span of career in Bollywood compared to his older brothers Rishi and Randhir Kapoor. His debut movie was with the film Ek Jaan Hain Hum in (1983). However, he got noticed through the romantic film Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985), which was directed by his father Raj Kapoor.

Despite there being an initial success of Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Rajiv Kapoor’s following films didn’t perform that well at the box office. He list of movies also included  Aasmaan (1984), Lover Boy (1985), and Zabardast (1985), but none of them managed to establish him as a leading actor in Bollywood.

After a few more films and trying his luck Rajiv Kapoor eventually shifted his focus to behind the scene work in the film industry. His directorial film Prem Granth in (1996) also didn’t do much of a magic for him. While his acting career may not have reached the same heights as his father or brothers, Rajiv Kapoor’s contribution will always remain in the Kapoor family’s legacy in Bollywood.

VICKY & SUNNY KAUSHAL

Vicky Kaushal‘s career has been made on solely hard work and determination. He rose to fame with roles in Raazi (2018) and Sanju (2018). He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) and continued his success with films like Sardar Udham Singh (2021) and Dunki (2023), earning another Filmfare Award.

Meanwhile Sunny Kaushal, the younger brother of Vicky Kaushal, has been trying to making a name for himself in Bollywood. His made debut movie was Sunshine Music Tours and Travels in (2016). However, it was his role in Gold (2018) alongside Akshay Kumar that brought him recognition. Sunny Kaushal has appeared in films like Bhangra Paa Le (2020), Shiddat (2021), and Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (2023). He’s set to star in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dilruba, working to establish himself in Bollywood.

SALMAN & SOHAIL KHAN

Salman Khan‘s career in Bollywood has been one of the most consistent and successful . His debut movie was Biwi Ho To Aisi in (1988) but then he gained recognition with his breathtaking performance in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), which became film of the year and earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Salman Khan has made a career with audience-friendly films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). His on screen personality , action filled performances, and romantic appeal made him loved by the audiences across the country. Salman Khan has continued to deliver box office hits with Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). His iconic characters, particularly as the lovable Chulbul Pandey in the Dabangg series is loved by all. Apart from acting, Salman Khan is also involved in various humanitarian efforts through his charity organization Being Human Foundation. Nonetheless Sohail Khan, the younger brother of Salman Khan has also tried his luck in the industry with not one but a few hats. He made his acting debut with the film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in (2002), which he also wrote and produced. Sohail Khan’s directorial debut was Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), starring Salman Khan and Kajol.

Sohail Khan has acted in films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005) and Jai Ho (2014). He’s also involved in philanthropy through the Being Human Foundation, and continues to contribute to the Indian film industry.

AAMIR & FAISAL KHAN

Aamir Khan‘s career in Bollywood spans several decades and is marked by versatility, creativity, and a commitment to quality cinema. He made his acting debut as a child artist in the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat in 1973 and later appeared in several other films as a child actor.

However Faisal Khan, the younger brother of Aamir Khan, is also an actor in the Indian film industry. He made his acting debut in the film Madhosh (1994). Whilst, Faisal gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim for his performance in the film Mela (2000), where he starred alongside his brother Aamir Khan.

He appeared in a few more films, but none of them achieved significant success at the box office.

He faced personal challenges and health issues over the years, which affected his career. Faisal Khan remains active in the industry, pursuing his passion for acting despite differing success levels compared to Aamir Khan.
