Today we talk about another film Manzil by Amitabh Bachchan. We welcome you to a new episode on the flourishing career journey of Shri Amitabh Bacchhan. The film I am talking about is a 1979 fillm Manzil a romantic drama film produced and directed by Basu Chatterjee.The film is inspired from a Bengali film Kusum.

In this film the lead titles are Amitabh Bachchan and Moushmi Chatterjee. Though the film was good with good stars, it did fairly well at the box office. People had enjoyed this film and the songs were very good especially one that got popular was the song, Rhim Jhim Barse Saawan was a super hit song. Till date people hum this song.

The music was by R D Burman, The story goes like this… Ajay Chandra that is Amitabh Bacchhan dreams big and falls in love with Aruna that is Moushmi Chatterjee. Both start liking each other a lot. As Ajay did not want to lose his new found love, he pretends to be a rich man even though in real he is not a well to do man. And in all this pretense he takes the help of his friend Prakash and later he falls into trouble. This film was produced by Lalita Pawar’s son Jai Pawar.

This film of Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t feature in his top successful lists. So many haven’t heard of this film in particular. So this was about the film Amitabh Bachchan.
